Lama David Bole, who completed the traditional 3-year retreat at Karme Ling under Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, is resident teacher at Gainesville KTC.

Through the ceaseless blessing and activity of His Holiness Karmapa, there are hundreds of Karma Kagyu meditation centers in thirty-four countries around the world. A North American monastic seat has been established, Karma Triyana Dharmachakra (KTD), in Woodstock, NY with which the Florida Tibetan Buddhist Center is affiliated. Active in the creation of the Florida Tibetan Buddhist Center are the Karma Thegsum Cholings (KTCs) of Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tampa, as well as the Karma Kagyu Study Group of St. Augustine.
