Florida Tibetan Buddhist Center Project - ON HOLD.
Due to financial circumstances, the FTBC project is closed. If there is a possibility for a future project concerning a Tibetan Buddhist Center, we will post it here. If in the meantime, you still wish to make a contribution, funds received will go to defray current obligations.
The Center, as conceived, will be a home for Tibetan meditation, arts, culture, and medicine, as well as a part-time winter residence for His Holiness Ogyen Trinley Dorje, 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, who has named the project “Karmapa’s Writing Garden.” The profound and spiritual culture of Tibetan Buddhism will be preserved, presented, and practiced in a setting that celebrates the natural beauty of Florida.
Authentic lineage teachers will come to transmit the Dharma, and the precious ancient teachings will continue to make their way from Asia to the West, to the South. May this benefit all and help us to understand the fragile nature of all life, the environment and our interdependence on each other.
